1. Acceptance of Terms By installing, accessing, or using the Pearson MyLab Solver Chrome Extension (“Extension”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any additional policies referenced herein (including our separate Privacy Policy and Refund Policy). This Agreement governs your use of the Extension.
2. Description of the Service The Pearson MyLab Solver Chrome Extension is designed to read Pearson MyLab content, generate solutions using large language models (LLMs), and submit answers on behalf of the user. Please note that the Extension is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Pearson.
3. Subscription and Payment Subscription Model: Access to the Extension is provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described during the sign-up process. Separate Refund Policy: Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. Please review that policy carefully for details on cancellations, refund eligibility, and related terms. Billing: Subscription fees will be billed to you in advance on a recurring basis. You are responsible for all charges incurred through your account, including any applicable taxes.
4. User Data and Privacy Data Collection: In order to operate the Extension, we collect your email address and track the number of questions solved per user. Privacy Policy: The collection, use, and sharing of your data is described in our separate Privacy Policy. By using the Extension, you consent to the data practices described therein.
5. Intellectual Property Our IP: All content, features, and functionality of the Extension—including but not limited to software code, graphics, and designs—are the intellectual property of MyLab Solver or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Pearson Trademarks: Since the Extension is not affiliated with Pearson, any use of Pearson’s trademarks or copyrighted material is solely for descriptive purposes and does not imply any endorsement or affiliation. Usage: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Extension strictly in accordance with this Agreement. No rights are granted to modify, distribute, or otherwise exploit the Extension beyond what is expressly provided.
6. Disclaimer of Accuracy and Limitation of Liability Powered by LLMs: The Extension utilizes large language models (LLMs) to generate answers. Because these models are inherently probabilistic, the results produced may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suited for your specific needs. You acknowledge and agree that the Extension is provided “as is” and that you use it at your own risk. No Warranty: Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, the Extension is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Limitation of Liability: In no event shall MyLab Solver be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for accessing the Extension.
7. Modifications to the Terms of Service We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated version on our website or within the Extension. Your continued use of the Extension after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
8. Termination Termination by You: You may terminate your subscription at any time by following the cancellation procedures provided within the Extension. Termination of your subscription does not relieve you of any obligation to pay any fees accrued prior to the termination date. Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, if you breach any provision of this Agreement or for any other reason deemed necessary by us.

10. By using the Pearson MyLab Solver Chrome Extension, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
